A lovely set of paper mache' vintage coasters with delightful floral design in purple and green on an eggshell colored background. The set comes with a case, top & bottom and a set of eight coasters approximately 4" across. Bottom is printed with Alfred Knobel name as well as the text " Alcohol Proof Japan". These coasters were generally made in Japan in the 1950s.
